Client Service Representative for Property and Casualty

We are seeking a highly skilled Client Service Representative to join our Property and Casualty team at Alera Group Midwest. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional day-to-day client service, anticipating client needs, and responding to client, producer, and account manager inquiries in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Order and process change requests with a focus on Business Insurance Risk Management
  • Prepare ID cards, binders, evidence of property, and other certificate of insurance requests
  • Process and document cancellations and reinstatements
  • Process and bill premium audits
  • Prepare and bill Bonds when required
  • Assist with preparation of renewal exposure workbooks
  • Create first draft of renewal proposals
  • Organize insured copies of new and renewal policies for delivery to clients
  • Maintain accurate policy data in agency management system (AMS360)
  • Consistently maintain client documentation in document managing system (Worksmart)
  • Maintain a courteous and effective relationship with clients, coworkers, insurance carriers, and other business contacts
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by Manager
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • 1-2 years of Commercial Lines Agency experience in a highly automated, risk management-focused environment
  • Must have Illinois Property and Casualty license or obtain within 60 days of hire date
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products with proficiency in Word and Excel
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, communication skills, and ability to work in a team environment that will also require working independently
  • Experience with AMS360 system a strong plus
