Job Overview

As a Mobile Sanitation Route Operator, you will be responsible for driving a company vehicle to designated sites for the maintenance and servicing of various portable sanitation units. We are looking for a reliable driver with a strong safety record to ensure the proper handling of equipment. This role involves physical labor and a keen eye for detail. If you enjoy working outdoors, primarily independently, and have a passion for ensuring cleanliness, this position is tailored for you.

Customer interaction and providing quality service are integral parts of this role. While experience with large service vehicles is advantageous, we are willing to train the right individual. You may also assist other teams as needed to fulfill company objectives.

Key Qualifications

  • Physically demanding role, requiring the ability to lift over 70 pounds, bend, twist, and perform repetitive movements in a dynamic environment.
  • Successful completion of a drug screening and physical examination is mandatory.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license (Class D).
  • Clean driving record for the past three years.
  • Proficient map reading skills.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to work independently while prioritizing safety.
  • Flexibility in work assignments and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong organizational skills and a commitment to high-quality work.
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.

Job Responsibilities

This position entails significant driving throughout the day, with no overnight travel required. A flexible schedule is essential, as standard hours are Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend and holiday work for special events or emergencies.

  • Safely drive to assigned locations to service portable restrooms, hand wash stations, and holding tanks.
  • Thoroughly clean and maintain portable sanitation units, organize the supply yard, and perform repairs as necessary.
  • Exhibit a strong commitment to maintaining the highest cleanliness standards.
  • Quickly address and resolve any issues that arise in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Conduct daily inspections of the service vehicle and report any maintenance needs.
  • Complete daily route reports, including photographs and necessary paperwork.
  • Effectively communicate the benefits of our services to potential customers.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
