Surgical Scrub Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Scrub Technician to join our team at the Indian Health Service. As a key member of our Operating Room team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

• Prepare and maintain the sterile field of the operating room using aseptic technique
• Select and sterilize supplies, instruments, and special equipment for surgical procedures
• Remove and clean soiled linens, equipment, and supplies
• Ensure equipment and instruments used during the operative procedure are assembled and set up correctly
• Control and monitor internal and external environments through biological testing, product evaluation, and sponge and instrument counts

• At least one year of specialized experience selecting surgical supplies and instruments for surgical cases as needed
• Setting up surgical suites as indicated by surgical case
• Preparing and maintaining the sterile field of the operating room using the principles of aseptic technique
