Job Summary

Bridgewell is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Direct Support Professional 2 to join our team. As a Residential Program Assistant, you will provide support and assistance to individuals with developmental or psychiatric disabilities in our Level 2 residential programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily support and assistance to individuals with skills training in activities of daily living, including personal care and hygiene.
  • Create opportunities for individuals to develop their skills and foster independence, promoting self-advocacy and self-directed living.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, and CARF, as well as Bridgewell policies and procedures.
  • Provide medical, clinical, and financial support to individuals, including transportation to medical appointments and activities.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements and Bridgewell policies.
  • Develop positive relationships with guardians, family members, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or DSP Certification preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental or psychiatric disabilities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
