We are seeking a visionary leader to serve as the Director of our Hematology/Oncology/Bone Marrow Transplant Division at Children's Mercy Kansas City. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction and growth of our division, while ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and advancing our research mission.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for the division, aligning with the hospital's overall goals and objectives.
- Lead a team of clinicians, researchers, and staff to deliver high-quality patient care, conduct innovative research, and advance our understanding of hematological and oncological diseases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement clinical programs, research initiatives, and educational activities that promote excellence in patient care and research.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, families, clinicians, researchers, and community partners.
- Develop and manage budgets, resources, and personnel to ensure the effective operation of the division.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in hematology, oncology, and bone marrow transplantation, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our division.
- MD or equivalent degree, with board certification in Hematology/Oncology/Bone Marrow Transplant.
- Strong track record of clinical and academic achievement, with a demonstrated commitment to advancing patient care and medical education.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, families, clinicians, researchers, and community partners.
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans, with a focus on driving growth and innovation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
