Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Clerk to support our Food Logistics management team in managing day-to-day operational and food safety activities within the food logistics area.

Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and participate in daily area meetings to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure work group members have properly set up stations at the start of each shift and during the shift.
  • Monitor and ensure Gold Standards are properly utilized to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Verify that all food items are properly dated and rotated according to First-In-First-Out (FIFO) standards.
  • Monitor work group members to ensure they report for shift on time and adhere to proper equipment and uniform attire standards.
  • Create and maintain department production paperwork, including inventory records and operational data.
  • Assist in the implementation of Lean processes and ensure their continuation throughout the department.
  • Verify daily operational data and update relevant databases as required.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulatory agencies' standards, including FDA, USDA, OSHA, EPA, DOT, and HACCP.
  • Monitor and review Internal Feedback Loop (IFBL) and customer feedback information with work groups.
  • Conduct monthly inventory (full inventory) to ensure accurate records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 1-3 years of administrative experience.
  • Knowledge of airline-specific database systems, such as LINK, CBASE, and ACE.
  • Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to detail in a high-stress environment.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and lead multi-cultural work groups.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
