Job Description

This role involves leading mechanical engineering efforts for thermal dryer projects, ensuring design modifications adhere to project specifications within budget and timeline constraints. You will collaborate with various teams to achieve project success efficiently.

  • Creating and maintaining project diagrams, layouts, and schedules.
  • Supporting Project Management and Sales for customer satisfaction.
  • Developing 3D models and 2D drawings for projects.
  • Ensuring design traceability and equipment integrity.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams for project execution.
  • Specifying and selecting project components.
  • Preparing technical RFQs and reviewing vendor bids.
  • Compiling and resolving review comments for vendors.
  • Creating detailed submittal packages for customer review.
  • Supporting Purchasing and Quality Control for vendor product evaluation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer.
  • Knowledge of software like Inventor, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate technical requirements effectively.
  • Experience in cost estimation and Bill of Material structure.
  • Familiarity with FEA analysis techniques and file management.
Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
