Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sprinkler Service Technician to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service and repair of sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to service calls and diagnose equipment malfunctions
  • Perform repairs and maintenance on sprinkler systems, including wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and fire pumps
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals to troubleshoot and repair equipment
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with customers and district staff
  • Participate in on-call rotation and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in the fire sprinkler/suppression industry
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, and technical manuals
  • Capable of performing physical labor, including carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs
  • Able to work in unusual positions, such as climbing ladders and scaffolding
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and travel up to 75% of the time
  • Able to participate in an on-call rotation schedule
  • NICET Level II desired
