Position Title: Outpatient Forensic Program Associate

Pay Grade: F

Overview:

The Community Forensic Program Associate plays a crucial role within one of the four outpatient teams, operating under the guidance of the Community Forensic Director.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Case Management for Psychological Evaluations:

a. Establishes forensic files by requesting necessary records from various agencies, ensuring all documentation is received, and organizing electronic files.

b. Engages in regular communication with state agencies and different components of the criminal justice system, including attorneys and the Department of Juvenile Justice.

c. Coordinates the scheduling of evaluations, working with defendants, psychologists, and occasionally parents or attorneys.

d. Scores psychological assessments when required.

e. Manages the distribution of completed psychological evaluations, finalizes electronic forensic files, and inputs relevant data into the system.

2. Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with Juvenile Court processes and the forensic mental health system. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, PeopleSoft, CONCUR, Kronos, and SharePoint.

Employment Requirements:

To ensure the safety and wellbeing of employees and the communities served, certain positions may necessitate evaluations, vaccinations, and professional certifications. Licenses must be current and valid within the State of Georgia.

The following evaluations and vaccinations may be required:

  • Drug Screening
  • TB Evaluation
  • Annual Influenza Vaccination*

*Limited exemptions may apply for documented medical contraindications or religious beliefs opposing vaccinations.

Note: This position may close at any time once a satisfactory applicant pool has been established.

Compliance Requirement: State law mandates a national and state background check as a condition of employment.

Qualifications: High school diploma/GED and two (2) years of relevant experience.
