Key Responsibilities:
  • Complete and provide assistance with apartment turnovers, including trash and furniture removal, cleaning, painting, screen replacement, and minor repair work.
  • Accept furniture deliveries in a timely and professional manner, and set up furniture as needed.
  • Prepare units with necessary miscellaneous items to welcome new families into shelter.
  • Complete all work orders in a thorough and timely manner.
  • Assist with property/building inspections.
  • Show apartments/buildings to various inspectors and other officials, exterminators, and contractors as necessary.
Requirements:
  • 2 years' equivalent experience, preferably in apartment turnovers.
  • A high school diploma (or equivalent) may substitute for some experience.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Basic computer skills, including reading and responding to electronic work orders.
  • Working knowledge of building and mechanical operation equipment and repairs.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
  • Ability to conduct oneself in an ethical and professional manner.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record; reliable vehicle.
