Job Summary

As a Maintenance Worker at The Washington Post, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities. This includes tasks such as cleaning restrooms, emptying garbage containers, and maintaining exterior grounds and roads. You will also be responsible for operating powered and unpowered equipment such as fork trucks and vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean restrooms, locker rooms, toilets, sinks, and urinals

• Remove snow using hand tools and powered equipment including pickup trucks equipped with plows

• Mop, vacuum, sweep and buff floors

• Empties garbage containers

• Collects, processes, dumps recycled materials such as metal and paper

• Notifies management regarding need for repairs

The salary range for this position is: 32,000.00 - 48,000.00 USD Annual. The actual salary within this range will depend on individual skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements. This position may be eligible for a bonus or incentive program, and a member of the Talent Acquisition team will discuss bonus payment terms and conditions during the interview process.
