Key Responsibilities- Facilitate a Safe and Productive Work Environment
- Ensure employee compliance with safety, quality, and productivity policies and procedures.
- Manage labor availability against production plans and optimize labor across manufacturing functions.
- Lead Quality and Efficiency Initiatives
- Ensure quality standards are met and implement processes to improve efficiency.
- Develop and recommend improvements to facilities, equipment, and procedures to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Supervise and Develop Team Members
- Assign, supervise, motivate, and evaluate the performance of employees.
- Confer with project managers and team members to ensure accurate schedules and re-establish schedules as necessary.
- Ensure team member training for proper equipment use and overall workplace safety.
- Drive Business Results
- Achieve manufacturing key performance indicators (KPIs) by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Coach, counsel, and issue corrective actions to employees as needed.
- Minimum 5 years of supervisor experience preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience working within the cabinet industry or specializing in wood products.
- Experience in planning, coordinating, and supervising personnel and production operations is required.
- Detailed-oriented, proficient with basic math, and able to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work without supervision and make appropriate decisions.
- Ability to process work with accuracy and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills to actively listen to stakeholders and clearly verbalize ideas and action plans.
- Experience in computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
