We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Associate to join our team at Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our buildings and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on company equipment, facilities, and properties, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems.
- Assist in constructing fixtures and equipment for use in company operations, including woodworking, sheetrock, flooring, and electrical work.
- Operate gas or arc welding equipment to join metal parts used to repair or fabricate equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, including vendors and participants.
- Attend mandatory management and training meetings, and conduct department meetings monthly.
- Follow all policies, procedures, and directives of Goodwill Industries to ensure the safety of personnel and property.
- Work collaboratively with Workforce Development and Social Services to provide participant services.
- Properly wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Maintain agency confidentiality and comply with all health, safety, and fire standards, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One year of experience in construction and/or building maintenance.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of personal auto insurance.
- Ability to pass background and driver record checks.
