Maintenance Specialist: Equipment and Systems Expert

M5c7 is seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to join their team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our residential properties. Your primary focus will be on performing routine maintenance and repairs to ensure all systems and equipment are functioning properly. This will involve electrical work, plumbing, HVAC maintenance, and general repairs, as well as troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues in a timely manner. You will conduct regular inspections of properties to identify and address maintenance needs, replace light fixtures, repair or replace plumbing fixtures, and perform other general maintenance tasks. Your attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills will be valuable assets in this role. You will also maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Effective communication with property managers and tenants is also essential, as you will need to communicate maintenance issues and repairs clearly and concisely. Additionally, you will assist with the procurement and organization of maintenance supplies and equipment, providing support for other team members as required. To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance or a related field. You should be proficient in electrical work, plumbing, HVAC maintenance, and general repairs, with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints is also essential, as is good communication and interpersonal skills. You should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. This role requires physical stamina, as you will be performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy materials and equipment. You will also need to work on ladders and in confined spaces, and be able to work in various weather conditions. In return for your hard work and dedication, you can expect a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. This salary range is based on national averages for maintenance specialists in the United States.
