Product Integrity Inspector

Responsibilities:
As a Quality Inspector at Syntec Optics, your responsibilities will include:
  • Determining overall product quality by conducting and evaluating various visual and product tests for obvious defects.
  • Routinely completing and interpreting inspection paperwork and blueprints including GD&T.
  • Inspecting incoming jobs from sub-contractors for quality and product integrity.
  • Performing in-process, first piece inspection and first article using various measuring equipment.
  • Notifying the Quality Manager when inspection data exceeds acceptable limits or when major incidents of poor quality are detected.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • An associates degree or equivalent in education and experience.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in quality control.
  • Experience with operating or programming a Sheffield or Zeiss CMM is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and math skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
