ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A bachelor's degree in a scientific or engineering field is required.
  • Proficiency in software development with a strong background in C, C++, Python, and LabWindows/CVI.
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within software teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide technical guidance in diagnosing and resolving system challenges, reducing downtime, and maintaining operational systems.
  • Experience in requirements analysis and breakdown.
  • Expertise in Systems Design, Integration, Validation, and Verification processes.
  • Interaction with clients to gather and clarify requirements.
  • Oversight of projects, including coordination and management of budgets and schedules.
  • Must be a US Person.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS), multithreaded environments, and embedded systems is advantageous.
  • Experience in producing technical documentation and developing software requirements based on client feedback, along with knowledge of DO-178B/DO-178C, DO-254, and DO-160 certification standards.
  • In-depth understanding of systems integration, implementation, and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Proficient in tools such as ClearCase/ClearQuest, DOORS, and BITBUCKET.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate into new teams and adapt to project-specific processes while leveraging previous knowledge and experience; adept at navigating dynamic environments, foreseeing challenges, and eliminating obstacles.
  • Competence in applying technical concepts to specific tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Skill in deconstructing complex problems into manageable components and organizing a systematic approach to solutions.
  • Experience collaborating across various disciplines (hardware, software, systems) in a team setting, possessing strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse organizations and individuals at all levels.
  • Proficient in developing and integrating innovative ideas, optimizing alternatives, and establishing contingency plans.
  • Exhibits a positive, proactive attitude; a highly motivated individual capable of self-initiating, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple responsibilities.
