About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Player Services Agent at Rivers Casino. As a key member of our Rush Rewards Center team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for all who visit our casino.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Engagement: Welcome and engage with guests, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes them feel valued and appreciated.
  • Card Sign-ups and Benefits: Assist guests with new card sign-ups, informing them of the benefits, contests, and promotions available to them.
  • Lost Club Cards and Promotional Items: Replace lost club cards and distribute promotional items in accordance with specific guidelines.
  • Technical Assistance: Assist with payment of slot jackpots, ticket fills, and equipment jams, and notify slot technicians when machine malfunctions require technical assistance.
  • Complementary Services: Extend complementary services to guests in accordance with the approved comp matrix.
  • Guest Support: Respond to guest questions, issues, and concerns in a courteous and professional manner, providing knowledgeable support and assistance.

Requirements:

  • Age and Education: Must be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer Service Experience: One or more years of experience in a customer service environment.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests.
  • Availability: Available to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Licensing: Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing.

Physical and Mental Demands:

  • Physical Demands: Regularly required to walk, stand, see, talk, and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms. Frequently required to stoop and kneel. Must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a noisy and smoky environment.
