Nurse Manager Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Assistant Nurse Manager to join our Critical Care Unit team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Collaboration: Work closely with the Nurse Manager to develop and implement unit goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with hospital priorities and values.
- Staff Support and Development: Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to front-line staff, promoting their growth and development in a supportive and inclusive environment.
- Operational Management: Assist with unit operations, including staffing, scheduling, and budget management, to ensure efficient use of resources and optimal patient care.
- Quality and Safety: Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to monitor and improve quality and safety outcomes, participating in quality improvement initiatives and root cause analysis investigations.
- Communication and Teamwork: Foster open communication and collaboration among team members, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and professionalism.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Nursing and relevant experience in a critical care setting.
- Leadership and Communication Skills: Proven ability to lead and communicate effectively with diverse groups, including staff, patients, and families.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Cultural Competence and Diversity: Commitment to promoting cultural competence and diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of nursing practice.
