VNA Health Group is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to fill the role of Assistant Clinical Manager, Hospice. This position is a vital part of our team, responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality hospice services to patients in need.
Responsibilities:- Act as a resource for field staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal patient care.
- Supervise clinical and support staff, conducting performance evaluations and monitoring productivity.
- Manage daily workforce needs, including case assignments and staffing levels.
- Collaborate with Quality and Staff Development staff to assess training needs and develop education programs.
- Take corrective action to address any issues impacting team clinical or financial outcomes.
- RN with BSN; oncology/hospice and palliative care certification preferred.
- 2-3 years experience with community health oncology/hospice nursing preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
