Job Title: Production Material Group Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Material Group Lead to join our Supply Chain Solutions division in Spring Hill, TN. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the production material group and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage production material in a customer manufacturing facility for specific work production cells.
  • Ensure production demand is met by analyzing demand of materials, daily goals, and other miscellaneous assignments.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customer floor leaders to ensure daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly deliverables related to safety, quality, cost, people, and downtime are met.
  • Monitor and track hourly, daily, weekly, and yearly targets of day-to-day manufacturing and communicate with internal and customer teams.
  • Perform supervisory responsibilities, including hiring, training, scheduling, conflict resolution, grievances, and supervising hourly members and team leaders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred.
  • Two (2) years or more in manufacturing or industry-related field.
  • Two (2) years or more supervisory experience.
  • Three (3) years of problem-solving skills experience, use of formal Root Cause Countermeasure Systems.
  • Intermediate computer skills required.
  • Exposure to Lean principles, systems, and tools, preferred.
  • Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), preferred.
  • Knowledge of material handling equipment may be required based on position, preferred.
  • Knowledge of OSHA required.
  • DOT and Hazmat knowledge may be required based on the account, preferred.

  • Competitive salary range: $75,000 - $77,000.
  • Annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on performance.
