About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Router Operator to join our team at Randstad. As a CNC Router Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program and operate 5-axis CNC equipment to produce complex parts and products
  • Select and set up cutting tools, tool paths, cutting speeds, and feed rates for each job
  • Develop and implement best machining practices to ensure high-quality products
  • Assist in all phases of the product life cycle, from design to delivery
  • Specify and implement product and process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
  • Produce detailed drawings and specifications for internal and external production
  • Plan and execute machining operations by studying work orders, production paperwork, materials, specifications, dimensions, and tolerances
  • Evaluate and optimize CNC programs for machine equipment to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Process each order according to customer specifications and quality standards
  • Verify the accuracy of parts by adhering to inspection processes and quality assurance procedures
  • Maintain equipment and tools by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing malfunctions
  • Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and needs to ensure continuity among work shifts
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in CNC machining and setup
  • 2+ years of experience with CNC routers and CAD software
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for 8 hours at a time
