Job Overview

The System Architect plays a crucial role in the research, design, development, testing, and deployment of operational software tailored for both employee and client utilization. Essential Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Ongoing education in emerging IT systems relevant to the organization's operations.
  • Significant hands-on experience in software design and engineering.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, R, T-SQL, and others, including formula language for Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, SharePoint, Database Development and Administration, UX Design Software, ER Design Software, DevOps Tools, and Cloud Management Tools.
  • Basic understanding of federal labor laws, including but not limited to the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Service Contract Act, and Davis-Bacon Act is preferred.
  • A valid Texas Driver License is required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enhances operational processes by performing software systems analysis and suggesting policy and procedural modifications.
  • Develops and oversees software system testing and validation protocols.
  • Evaluates user and client requirements to assess the feasibility of designs within specified time and budget constraints.
  • Illustrates solutions by creating detailed specifications for software development, including documentation, flow charts, layouts, diagrams, and code annotations.
  • Executes comprehensive software and database development throughout the full life cycle using standard DevOps methodologies.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert in the field.
  • Customizes and implements software tools, processes, and metrics.
  • Manages the development team and monitors software development progress, including both in-house and offshore teams.
  • Facilitates internal communication across all business units and engages in external communication with clients.
  • Undertakes additional duties, tasks, and special projects as assigned.
