A competitive salary of $85,000 per year is offered for this Speech Language Pathologist position. As a member of our team at Amergis, you will play a vital role in delivering speech language pathology services to our patients.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assess patient's communication skills, oral-motor integrity, cognitive status, memory, problem-solving abilities, hearing, and speech fluency.
  • Identify functional speech defects and establish a plan of care in coordination with the physician to address speech, language, hearing, and other functional disorders.
  • Administer speech therapy programs using specialized therapeutic techniques and equipment.
  • Instruct patients, caregivers, and healthcare teams on their roles in speech therapy.
  • Recommend communication devices and hearing tests as necessary.
Requirements
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech-language pathology
  • Degree from an accredited school of Speech-Language Pathology
  • Current licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • One year of prior professional experience preferred
