Job Summary: EGlobalTech, a Tetra Tech Company, is seeking a Sr. Information Systems Security Officer to join our Cyber Solutions Practice in Arlington, VA. This 100% remote role requires US Citizenship, ability to undergo an extensive background check, and ability to obtain a Public Trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide objective advice and specialized skills to create value, maximize growth, or improve performance, resiliency, and protection against cybersecurity-related threats, vulnerabilities, and other cybersecurity-related remediation activities.
  • Participate in consulting projects that deliver customer-focused results aligned with strategic goals of the Client.
  • Facilitate review and analysis of strategic issues and advise regarding implementation of strategy.
  • Support in resolving issues, analysis of trends and issues, development of procedures and processes, oversight of technical implementation, and execution of strategic plans.

Requirements:

  • 12 years of general experience, 10 years in Cybersecurity & FISMA experience (No Degree required).
  • 8 years of Cybersecurity & FISMA experience (Bachelor's Degree required).
  • CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP) certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of Cybersecurity field's concepts, practices, and procedures to ensure secure integration and operation of all systems.
  • Experience with NIST SP 800 family of publications, particularly those associated with NIST's Risk Management Framework and FedRAMP.
  • Specialized knowledge of financial audit standards, classified system IA requirements, and Privacy Act requirements.
  • Experience with evaluating system, network, or infrastructure security controls against requirements such as FISMA, FIPS, and NIST guidelines.
  • Vulnerability scanning execution, assessment, and analysis.
  • Operating system and network knowledge (i.e., Local Area Networks [LAN] and Wide Area Networks [WAN]).
  • Application security, database security, and network security.
