The Senior Cost Analyst at StellarPeak Careers plays a pivotal role in delivering expertise in the application of cost estimation and analysis methodologies. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of the principles and theories relevant to complex Government acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced statistical analysis techniques to develop cost estimating relationships.
- Collect, normalize, and analyze data to create effective cost estimating models.
- Prepare life-cycle cost estimates employing various methodologies such as parametric and analogy-based approaches.
- Lead the execution of life-cycle cost estimates for significant system acquisitions.
- Identify critical cost and technical risk factors, translating them into potential program cost implications.
- Employ Monte Carlo simulation techniques to enhance cost estimation accuracy.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 11-16 years of relevant experience, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree.
- Possession of a TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A Master's Degree in Engineering, Physics, Operations Research, Cost Analysis, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Experience in cost estimation across various domains, including space hardware, systems, launch systems, and ground systems.
- Proficiency in risk analysis software and statistical analysis tools.
- ICEAA certification, such as Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst (CCEA), is advantageous.
