Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Case Administrator to join our team at the U.S. Courts. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our judges and court personnel, ensuring the smooth operation of our court proceedings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to attorneys, pro-se litigants, and the public, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including case files, documents, and databases.
  • Assist with the preparation and processing of court documents, including summons, subpoenas, and writs.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as scanning documents, processing mail, and maintaining court files.
  • Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • High school graduation or equivalent required; two years of specialized experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Customer service experience, preferably in a judicial or legal setting.
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat and other document management software.
