About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Operations Technician II to join our team at Quality Technology Services, LLC. This role is responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of IT, electrical, mechanical, plumbing/piping equipment, machinery, and controls located in the interior and exterior of our building.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor operations and conduct routine assessments of building systems, operations, and performance.
  • Perform tests, rounds, and analyze data to ensure proper functioning of departmental equipment.
  • Assist customers on the Data Center floor, both in person and via telephone, with equipment installs, ticket management, and alert escalation.
  • Complete tasks related to computer hardware, software, and operating systems.
  • Lead, maintain, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Provide remote hands and eyes services for customers.
  • Install and repair IT, mechanical, and electrical equipment as required.
  • Process work orders for preventative and corrective maintenance on critical, building, and site infrastructure.
  • Operate and monitor critical and non-critical system equipment and components to ensure safe and compliant operation.
  • Respond to building emergencies and customer requests.
Requirements
  • Five or more years of technical training, military training, or workplace equivalency.
  • Background in IT, electrical, and/or mechanical fields.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Preferred qualifications include two or more years of work experience in a data center environment, NOC, or equivalent, and relevant certifications.
