Branch Sales and Operations Manager

White Cap is seeking an experienced Branch Sales and Operations Manager to support the talent acquisition, development, and retention of branch sales and operations associates. The successful candidate will manage the branch in the Branch Manager's absence and assist in developing strategies to drive branch sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Support the talent acquisition, development, and retention of branch sales and operations associates.
- Manage the branch in the Branch Manager's absence.
- Assist the manager in developing strategies to drive branch sales and profitability.
- Coordinate procurement, inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehousing, and sales in accordance with the policies, principles, and procedures established by the organization.
- Solve problems at the branch level, investigate customer complaints, and make necessary resource adjustments.
- Manage operational branch level problems, investigate inventory discrepancies, and make adjustments as required.
- Serve customers and support the counter and inside sales functions as necessary.
- Ensure all sales orders are billed correctly and in a timely manner.
- Schedule staff and analyze budgets and variances.
- 5+ years of experience in sales and operations management.
- Experience with sales order computer software, preferably Oracle.
- Knowledge of construction and industrial products.
- Spanish language proficiency.
- Ability to operate a company vehicle or personal vehicle consistently more than 20% of the average work week.
- Forklift experience.
