Position Overview
This role is based in our Denver, CO office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Defend and manage litigation involving a wide array of employment-related claims and agency discrimination charges.
- Provide guidance, counsel, and training to employers on various labor and employment law matters.
- Represent employers in judicial proceedings, before administrative bodies, during mediations, and in arbitration concerning employment issues, including class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract disputes, employment torts, and non-compete agreements.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA accredited law school with outstanding academic performance.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in employment or commercial litigation.
- Strong preference for candidates with a background in employment law.
- Active membership in the Colorado Bar in good standing.
- Familiarity with current state and federal agency procedures.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
- Able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management abilities.
- Dedication to professionalism, teamwork, and collegiality.
Compensation and Benefits:
The anticipated salary range for this position is between $146,500 and $176,000, with eligibility for annual bonuses. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other lawful factors.
