Clinical Research Nurse Job Description

MGH is seeking a skilled Clinical Research Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for implementing and conducting clinical trials in various disease programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with research teams to establish processes and workflows for protocol compliance, data collection, and sample acquisition.
  • Develop educational programs for non-research clinical staff on specific protocols.
  • Review new protocols and amendments for nursing and operational feasibility.
  • Collaborate with attending physicians to identify and recruit patients for clinical trials.
  • Provide education to patients and their families on clinical trials.
  • Coordinate study screening and enrollment, protocol treatment, and follow-up care for patients in clinical trials.
Requirements:
  • Current licensure as a registered nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of oncology nursing experience.
  • Clinical trials research experience preferred.
