Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the PACU/Recovery Room at MetroHealth. As a critical care nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the PACU/Recovery Room
  • Direct and supervise nursing personnel in the delivery of patient care
  • Assess and report on patient condition, treatment, and response to care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Current registered nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
  • AHA Basic Life Support certification or obtains within 90 days of hire
  • One year of experience in the PACU/Recovery Room or critical care
Preferred Qualifications
  • BSN and certification in a relevant specialty
  • Experience in a related field, such as operating room or post-procedure care
Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to sit, stand, stoop, bend, and walk intermittently during the day. May need to sit or stand for extended periods. Requires some exposure to communicable diseases or body fluids.
