ROLE SUMMARY:
The main objective of this role is to evaluate the needs of residents, create personalized care plans, deliver nursing services, assess the effectiveness of care, and oversee nursing aides and other staff in providing care. This oversight must comply with all relevant federal, state, and local regulations, as well as directives from the Nursing Services Director or their representative, ensuring the highest standards of care are upheld at all times. Adhere to all health, hygiene, and infection control protocols, maintaining the established standards of practice set by the facility's administration and nursing policies.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid, unrestricted license to practice as an LPN in the applicable state.
- Current CPR certification is required.
- Proficient in English with the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to execute both verbal and written directives.
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and community staff.
- Knowledge of proper safety and sanitation practices.
- Willingness to work scheduled hours as required by the position.
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.
Experience:
- Prior experience in long-term care is preferred but not mandatory.
Work Schedule & Compensation:
- Available for both full-time and part-time roles.
