Job Summary:

Vista Del Mar Child & Family Services is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to support the Program Manager in overseeing program fidelity, compliance, and quality assurance for Vista Safe Homes Home Studies and Post Release Services. The Quality Assurance Specialist will play an integral role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and compliance of program activities with Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive physical and electronic case file reviews to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
Conduct periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure compliance procedures are followed.
Data entry and management in Salesforce, UC Portal, and SharePoint systems.
Assess quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and recommend insights to improve overall quality performance.
Discuss emerging compliance issues with management.
Monitor compliance systems to ensure their effectiveness.
Collaborate with the Program Manager to design or implement improvements in communication, monitoring, or enforcement of compliance standards.
Produce statistical reports and insights on quality performance.
Assist the Program Manager with employee training on compliance-related topics, policies, or procedures.
Support the Program Manager in collecting data for inclusion in monthly, quarterly, and annual program reports.
Participate in internal and external meetings and training as assigned.
Maintain knowledge of ORR regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure internal procedures meet regulatory standards.

Requirements:

Associate degree required with 5 years of experience; Bachelor's degree preferred with two (2) years of related previous experience.
Experience with tracking data and auditing and utilizing resources available to complete assigned projects.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Internet software, such as databases, hosted systems; Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint; Excel, and other information systems.
Knowledge of various funders and stakeholders, such as The Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) and/or The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), preferred.
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Experience working with youth is beneficial.
