Staff Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Psychologist to join our team at the University of Vermont Medical Center. As a key member of our Cancer Center, you will provide psychotherapy services to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, working closely with medical providers, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals.
Job DescriptionAs a Staff Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing a range of psychological services, including diagnostic evaluations, focused clinical assessments, and psychological interventions. You will also provide clinical supervision to Psychology Residents and Postdoctoral Fellows, as well as consultation to medical providers and nursing staff.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in multicultural psychology and a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. You will be expected to collaborate with Cancer Center providers and colleagues across disciplines to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
Requirements- Doctoral degree in clinical psychology from an APA or CPA accredited program (or equivalent)
- Valid Psychologist-PhD license
- Completion of internship from an APA accredited program (or equivalent)
- At least 1-year post-doctoral training in a clinical setting
- Minimum 3 years' post-licensure experience in Clinical Psychology, including experience providing individual, family, and group psychotherapy, clinical supervision, and staff consultation
