Job Title: Sleep Center Operations Manager

Are you a motivated and organized individual with a passion for sleep health? We are seeking a highly skilled Sleep Center Operations Manager to join our team at the University of Rochester.

Job Summary:

The Sleep Center Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our sleep center, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and that our team is equipped to provide exceptional service. This role will involve managing staff, coordinating patient care, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the operation of the sleep center and associated services, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
  • Direct and manage work completed by the assigned team, ensuring staff adheres to accepted standards for patient care.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, orient, train, and evaluate performance of staff members.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve staff performance and patient care.
  • Maintain sleep study acquiring skills and provide expert care to patients as needed.
  • Perform routine equipment care and maintenance and inventory evaluation.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and privacy policies to maintain patient confidentiality.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or AAS in Polysomnography Technologist required.
  • 3 years of experience in polysomnographic testing required.
  • Leadership experience preferred.
  • Interpersonal, customer service, team work, and coaching/mentoring skills.
  • Computer use agility, critical thinking, and decision-making ability.
