About the Role

The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN is seeking a highly motivated and accomplished physician for a full-time appointment. The position is open rank, and the successful applicant will dedicate the majority of their effort to clinical Pulmonary Medicine and/or Sleep Medicine.

The remaining time can be devoted to Critical Care Medicine, continuation of funded projects, or pursuit of professional development opportunities. The recruitment package anticipates protected time for scholarly activities according to the candidate's needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct clinical Pulmonary Medicine and/or Sleep Medicine with a focus on innovative diagnostics, new therapies, and advanced health information technologies.
  • Participate in funded clinical trials and innovations in clinical operations.
  • Support and mentor staff and trainees in scholarly endeavors.

Requirements

  • Board eligible or board certified in Pulmonary Medicine.
  • Board eligible or board certified in Sleep Medicine if interested in Pulmonary Medicine and Sleep Medicine combined.
  • Board eligible or board certified in Critical Care if practicing a segment of Critical Care.
