Your Responsibilities:

  • Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures to address engineering challenges and produce construction documents.
  • Oversee project design and development for grading, stormwater management, and utility systems from initial planning through to construction.
  • Prepare specifications, conduct research investigations, and compile reports.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of technical work within a major project or across multiple projects.
  • Collaborate with the design team, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
  • Monitor approvals from agencies, manage additional service requests, and oversee contract approvals.
  • Adapt site plans to meet requirements and provide recommendations for optimal layouts.
  • Review entire projects, including designs completed by others, prior to quality assurance and quality control reviews.
  • Mentor, delegate, and lead Design Engineers and AutoCAD Technicians effectively.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 4+ years of experience in project design, specifically in Land Development Design
  • Professional Engineer license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) actively pursuing PE
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydrology modeling, and storm drainage software
  • Strong understanding of precise grading, utility planning, and stormwater management
  • Ability to resolve grading issues and balance earthwork as necessary
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and excel in a dynamic professional environment
