Role Summary:
The CBDI Manager of Clinical Research Operations oversees a dedicated team of Clinical Research Nurses and Clinical Research Coordinators within their designated unit. This role is responsible for managing daily operations, staffing, human resources, and budgetary considerations for the unit.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant clinical research experience, including at least 2 years in roles such as Clinical Research Coordinator or Clinical Research Nurse, or providing nursing care to pediatric oncology research participants.
  • Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in nursing with 5 years of nursing experience and current Florida RN licensure.
  • Preferred: 2 years of experience with the Children's Oncology Group (COG).
  • Required: 2 years of supervisory or management experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, HIPAA, FDA regulations, and other federally mandated standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to meticulously follow protocols and instructions, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and human subject research is essential.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
