Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all production supervisors and teams.
  • Plan and execute the production schedule to meet company goals and objectives.
  • Set and meet production targets and goals, ensuring timely completion of all direct-report employee reviews.
  • Coach and guide production team members to improve overall competency and productivity.
  • Manage human and material resources to meet production targets, including equipment use, maintenance, modification, and procurement.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures for production operations, ensuring adherence to health and safety procedures and product quality standards.
  • Implement and enforce quality control and tracking programs to meet quality objectives.
  • Analyze production and quality control data to detect and correct problems, determining and implementing improvements to the production process.
  • Prepare and maintain production reports, estimating production costs and setting and managing production budgets.
  • Ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between departments, including quality, engineering, maintenance, procurement, logistics, warehouse, and management.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of production experience, with a minimum of 3 years of managerial/supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge of process improvement, budgeting, and production standards.
  • Experience with production planning, controls, and instrumentation, as well as MRP and/or ERP systems.
