We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Northwestern Memorial Healthcare. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic Nuclear Medicine imaging procedures using radioactive isotopes to generate imaging information for patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Service patients in accordance with industry standards, IEMA Standards, department protocols, and hospital policies and procedures.
  • Assess and evaluate physician orders for Nuclear Medicine examinations according to departmental protocol.
  • Position patients and perform diagnostic imaging procedures using Nuclear Medicine gamma cameras.
  • Care for patients throughout the procedure according to department and hospital standards of nursing care, age-specific standards, and "Patients' First" guidelines.
Requirements:
  • ARRT or NMTCB accreditation
  • IEMA-Division of Nuclear Safety licensed and accredited
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Training Program
  • CEUs consistent with remaining licensed and accredited by the aforementioned bodies
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Approximately 3-5 years of experience
  • Knowledge of Siemens e.soft work environment
