Position Overview

  • Knowledge of UPS Worldship is a plus
  • Experience with export documentation is preferred
  • Understanding of SDS/Hazcom shipping regulations

Key Responsibilities

This position is based at the Regional Repair Center (RRC), with primary duties focused on shipping, receiving, and managing Return Material Authorizations (RMAs). Additional responsibilities include:

  • Shipping and Receiving: Overseeing all shipping and receiving activities for stock inventory and customer RMAs, with a focus on these tasks as the top priority.
  • RMA Coordination: Managing RMA processes from initial customer contact to final product resolution, including:
    • Identifying customer return reasons and determining appropriate actions.
    • Issuing RMA numbers and coordinating product returns.
    • Facilitating communication regarding RMA evaluations and coordinating with Factory Service Technicians (FST) for customer feedback.
    • Entering new Corrective Action Reports (CAR) into the Quality System.
    • Consulting with FSTs for complex issues and product failures.
    • Collaborating with FSTs to reach customer agreements and finalize product disposition.
  • Inventory Management: Overseeing all inventory within the RRC, including receiving products and RMAs, stocking materials, and determining optimal stocking strategies.
  • Basic Repair Work: Occasionally performing basic repairs of RMAs under FST guidance when workload permits.

Education and Experience

A high school diploma or GED is required. Experience in shipping, receiving, inventory management, or electromechanical technical fields is preferred but not mandatory.

Language and Communication Skills

Ability to read and interpret various documents, write reports, and effectively communicate with colleagues and customers. Bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

Mathematical and Reasoning Skills

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and apply concepts to practical situations.

Computer Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; knowledge of SAP or freight programs is a plus.

Physical Demands and Work Environment
