We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to work with Sky Jet Services in Kansas City, Missouri.
Competitive hourly rates and attractive non-taxable per diem options make this a rewarding contract role. You'll have the chance to refine your skills in a dynamic MRO environment by working on various aircraft types, including 737, 767, Airbus, and Next Gen models.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting detailed inspections on commercial aircraft
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements using an FAA A&P License
- Collaborating with maintenance teams to resolve job-related issues
- Working independently in specialized aircraft areas with minimal supervision
- Maintaining safety standards and protocols in a fast-paced environment
Key qualifications for this role include:
- 3+ years of heavy aircraft maintenance experience or equivalent education/experience
- Familiarity with GEN FAM - 737, NextGen, A320
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interpret technical documents accurately
- High School Diploma or equivalent; A&P License preferred
The estimated salary for this position is around $60-$80 per hour, depending on experience and location.
