We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse III to join our Infectious Disease Med/Surg Unit at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to creating a compassionate and caring environment for patients, families, and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities- Implement physician orders, administer medications, and perform treatments and procedures as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules.
- Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered, and apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
- Provide primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses, and administer over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients, and guide ancillary personnel to maintain standards of professional nursing.
- Hourly Range: $60.93
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
