We have developed a comprehensive health technology platform designed to safely and effectively broaden access to a transformative approach known as Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy, initiating with Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). Within our patient-focused collaborative care framework, licensed psychotherapists within our network manage the psychotherapy aspect, while Journey Clinical's in-house medical team oversees patient eligibility, treatment planning, and outcome assessment. Our platform equips psychotherapists who are enthusiastic about PAP with the necessary infrastructure and support to become proficient KAP providers, while ensuring elevated standards of patient care and improved clinical outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee advanced practice clinicians in Georgia
  2. Conduct patient intake and follow-up consultations to assess eligibility for ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP), prescribe, and monitor patient outcomes via telemedicine as necessary
  3. Recommend adjustments to treatment plans based on patient responses and treatment results
  4. Engage in collaborative care with Journey Clinical member psychotherapists
  5. Coordinate with Journey Clinical care coordinators to optimize workflow
  6. Provide timely and constructive feedback on the Journey Clinical care management system to enhance our services
  7. Report directly to the Lead Clinician and collaborate with the leadership team and co-founders


Candidate Profile:

MD licensed to practice in Georgia

Preferred: experience as a collaborating physician

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a psychiatric-related field

GA DEA registration

Comfortable prescribing controlled substances when clinically appropriate

Experience in prescribing for anxiety and depression

Able to quickly synthesize medical and psychiatric information to formulate effective, evidence-based clinical recommendations

Patient-first mindset, strong work ethic, and commitment to the highest standards of patient care

Willingness to utilize various tools to streamline work processes (e.g., Slack, G Suite, Zoom)

Comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced telehealth startup environment

Interest in the field of psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy to transform mental health care
