Job Summary:

Pave America, a private equity-backed company, is seeking a seasoned executive to lead its paving division. As Division President, you will be responsible for driving business growth, managing operations, and ensuring financial success. This is an exceptional opportunity to join a dynamic company with a strong presence in the construction and paving industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the division's strategic plan, aligning with company goals and objectives.
  • Provide strong leadership to division managers and staff, fostering a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Implement and monitor performance metrics to ensure operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive operational excellence through process improvements, innovation, and best practices.
  • Prepare and manage the division's annual budget, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
  • Analyze financial reports, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance profitability.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and reporting of financial performance to the Pave America executive team.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the division's market presence and increase revenue.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote the division's capabilities and achievements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the construction or paving industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects and driving business growth.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and P&Ls.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
  • Ability to travel as required.
