Key Responsibilities

The Electrical Superintendent will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and supervision of electrical activities and field labor across assigned projects. This role includes ensuring labor productivity and managing associated costs while providing technical and administrative guidance to meet project objectives. Adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards is essential.

Core Duties & Responsibilities
  • Oversee labor productivity, including the development of task codes and budgeting methods.
  • Collaborate with project management to determine labor needs and projections.
  • Participate in regular meetings to align the job site team towards common goals.
  • Foster relationships with contractors and communicate effectively with their personnel.
  • Attend project meetings and engage proactively with preparedness on schedules and constraints.
  • Work with project management to develop and maintain project schedules.
  • Organize and plan labor, tools, materials, and equipment to meet project commitments.
  • Provide technical support and resolve field issues as they arise.
  • Supervise Foremen and Senior Electricians in planning and coordinating work activities.
  • Engage in BIM and Clash Detection meetings, providing necessary oversight and support.
  • Review and approve drawings for accuracy and identify prefabrication opportunities.
  • Ensure quality control and safety standards are implemented throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct daily job walks to identify deficiencies and document findings appropriately.
  • Assess staff strengths and weaknesses, recommending training opportunities as needed.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience managing projects with annual revenues exceeding $7M.
  • Valid NC Electrical License or equivalent certification.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
