Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Radiologic Technologist at Parham Doctors' Hospital, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. To be successful in this position, you will need to have a strong foundation in radiologic technology principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning them correctly and adjusting immobilization devices as needed.
  • Maintain production and quality of radiographs by following established standards and procedures.
  • Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
  • Review each exam for technical accuracy and identify anatomical orientation on all images.
  • Assist the radiologist in administering medications, contrast agents, and other types of care to patients.
  • Participate in emergency call rotation to meet department needs.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent Military Radiologic Technologist training.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and state license.
  • Basic Life Support Certification.
  • American Society of Radiologic Technology preferred.
