Overview

Thermoflex Corporation is a dynamic manufacturer focused on producing high-quality all-weather floor mats tailored for the automotive sector. We are seeking a dedicated individual to fulfill the role of Manufacturing Scheduler. This position is essential in facilitating production processes by devising effective schedules that align with customer requirements while minimizing operational losses. The Manufacturing Scheduler will leverage the IQMS ERP System to formulate, disseminate, and oversee daily and weekly production schedules across various manufacturing tiers.

Core Responsibilities

  • Aligning production output and inventory levels with market demand to fulfill customer expectations, achieve inventory targets, and meet staffing needs.
  • Clearly communicating production schedules to the manufacturing team.
  • Overseeing supply chain and operational functions utilizing the ERP system.
  • Evaluating inventory levels to ensure precision and accuracy.
  • Enhancing capacity utilization and reducing production changeover times.
  • Identifying and resolving production reporting discrepancies.
  • Collaborating with department leaders to evaluate progress and implement necessary schedule modifications.
  • Assessing minimum hold levels and managing work orders accordingly.
  • Monitoring daily sales, costs, and labor expenditures.
  • Generating daily reports for the production team through the ERP system.
  • Managing multiple projects concurrently.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline.
  • 2 – 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Scheduling.
  • Background in a manufacturing setting is advantageous.
  • Strong initiative and capability to drive improvements.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and enhance skills.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and ERP systems.
