Responsibilities
  • Prepare the operating room with sterile equipment and supplies, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for surgical procedures.
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures, providing support and maintaining a sterile field.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Surgical Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical Assistant (CSA).
  • 1-2 years of experience in a surgical setting, preferably in an operating room environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
