Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at HerMD, a physician-founded practice revolutionizing women's healthcare. As a CRNA, you will play a critical role in ensuring patient comfort, safety, and optimal surgical outcomes during various gynecological procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough preoperative evaluations of patients scheduled for in-office gynecological procedures.
  • Administer anesthesia, including sedation and pain management techniques, tailored to each patient's specific needs and procedure requirements.
  • Continuously monitor patients throughout the entire duration of procedures, ensuring vital signs, oxygenation levels, and other relevant parameters remain within safe limits.
  • Administer medications, such as analgesics, anesthetics, and adjuncts, as required during and after procedures, maintaining accurate records of drug administration and dosages.
  • Collaborate closely with the gynecologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals involved in patient care, providing effective communication and ensuring a coordinated approach to patient management.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nurse Anesthesia from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
  • Hold current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and maintain a valid Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license in the state of practice.
  • Demonstrate experience in providing anesthesia for gynecological procedures, particularly in an office-based setting.
